At the Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center, September 27 - November 4. Kathy Hornsby, a gifted painter and photographer, travels the world in search of extraordinary subjects. Her show, "Beyond Visible: Infrared Photography" brings to the Williamsburg a collection of over 30 infrared images inspired by her travels, from Namibia to New Mexico. “Teapot”: Hemis Monastery, Ladakh, India For her infrared photographs, she used digital cameras with sensors converted to “see” only near infrared light.
